Enjoy the early waterbirds birds at Otter and Swan lakes, and then take a short hike to see upland birds and flowers at Allan Brooks Nature Centre. There should be many ducks, geese and swans as well as a variety of hawks, eagles and landbirds. We’ll have several spotting scopes available so you can get great looks at the birds.

Meet at Jungle Mania parking lot at 08:00 to carpool. We will be back in Salmon Arm by mid-afternoon. Trip leaders will be Cathy Meakes along with John and Marcia Woods. A portable toilet is available at Swan Lake. Bring a lunch and water.

Difficulty Rating: DR-2 (flat terrain with some longer walks short hills and stairs at the observation tower).
