The Shuswap Naturalist Club actively seeks out and develops partnerships to help us achieve our objectives. Our thanks and support go out to the following organizations:

  • BC Bird Trail - BC Bird Trail is the leading source of information on attractions, activities, and accommodations related to birdwatching travel in BC.

    BC Nature - our Provincial parent organization, leading the way in setting prorities, conservation advocacy, communication and coordination, and seeking funding.

  • Birds Canada - Canada’s most important bird conservation organization, and leader of the Motus wildlife radio tracking project, of which we are a part.

  • City of Salmon Arm - a supportive legal ally in trail use management, a strong funding partner, and provider of infrastructure for our Motus wildlife radio tracking project.

  • Nature Kids - a program dedicated to providing kids with opportunities to learn about nature through hands on activities.

  • Salmon Arm Bay Nature Enhancement Society - our close partner in stewardship and education activities on Salmon Arm Bay.

  • Shuswap Community Foundation - an important source of financial support for our projects.

  • Shuswap Trail Alliance - leader in the development and maintenance of local trail networks that enhance our club’s activities and foster better appreciation of nature within our community.
