The outing will have two parts and people can choose to do one or both parts. The time will be 2-3 hours, more or less. Part one will be a stop at Frodo's Bog to look at a variety of wetland plants, including orchids. Part two will be a stop at the North Hub to look at the old growth ecosystem. Both stops will focus on flowers, shrubs, mosses, lichens, mushrooms, and birds, whatever is interesting.

Mitch Migram will be your trip leader. Meet him at the Larch Hills chalet parking lot at 10 a.m. and car pool from there to head up Larch Hills road.

Difficulty: DR-1 Easy. There are outhouses at the chalet, the South Hub (stop one), and maybe the North Hub (stop two).
