Our final meeting of 2025 will begin with a presentation by Desiree Roell, representing the Shuswap Rock Club. The goal of Desiree’s organization is to enable their members to pursue the study and collection of rocks and minerals, the art of lapidary (shaping and polishing stones, minerals, or gemstones into decorative objects) and other related crafts. These objectives are achieved through programs, workshops and field trips. The Shuswap has a unique and interesting geological history — be sure to attend this meeting to learn more!
